You'll be talking to an AI, not a person. Nothing starts until you press a button; the microphone is only used for a voice call.

About Grief Companion

The Grief Companion is there for people who have lost someone, a person or a much-loved pet. It listens first and lets you lead. When you want it, it can explain what grief can feel like, help you think through the first weeks in general terms, suggest ways to support a grieving child, and help you prepare for anniversaries and other hard days.

It is gentle and unhurried and avoids easy clichés. It is an AI companion, not a counsellor, and it will tell you kindly when more support might help, and where to look for it.

This agent is not a therapist or a crisis service. If you are in danger or in crisis, call your local emergency number.

It can help with

  • Talking about the person or pet you've lost
  • Understanding what grief can feel like, in body and mind
  • Thinking through the first weeks after a death, in general terms
  • Talking with a child about death and supporting them
  • Getting through anniversaries, birthdays and holidays
  • Knowing when to look for more support

It can't help with

  • Legal, probate or funeral rules in your country
  • Counselling or therapy
  • Crisis support (it gives you emergency numbers and crisis lines)
  • Telling you how long grief should last
